Terms of Service

By commissioning me for digital or traditional art pieces, or Purchasing an adoptable you are agreeing to these terms.

General
  • I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason
  • As the artist, I maintain all rights to completed artwork. I have the rights to repost and use completed artwork as advertisement and examples in my portfolio.
  • You may repost commissioned artwork, but must credit myself (StrawberryOverlord) as long as no profit is being made by you. (no selling the artwork on T-shirts/prints/merch unless given written permission)
  • You may NOT use any of my art in any blockchain-related technology, including but not limited to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space
  • Commissions cannot be used by anyone except the commissioner, or person whom the commission is intended.
  • I do not claim rights to any characters or other intellectual property used in the process of creating the artwork.


    • Ordering an art piece
  • Quotes can be requested at any time. You Must give a description of what is wanted with a minimum 1- 2 view digital ref sheet.
  • A digital reference sheet is required, and must show front view, back view and preferably side views to ensure artwork is as accurate to your character's design. Other images of the character can be sent to give more views along with the ref sheet.
  • If a commission involves characters belonging to other people, written permission from the other character owner(s) must be provided or they contact me to confirm you have permission to have a piece created with both your characters in.


    • Payments and Returns
  • Payment is taken via paypal in USD only ($) An invoice will be sent for payment.
  • Invoice will be sent half way through commission progress to ensure that you are happy with their work so far.
  • Once full payment has been received the piece will be completed fully and sent un-watermarked.
  • If the commission is completely done, you CANNOT ask for a refund. (However if it's only part way we can of course discuss it!)


    • WiPs
  • WIPs will be sent throughout the piece being completed (sketch, lines, flat colors, finished piece)
  • During the sketch and line stage, changes can be requested, (nothing drastic unless I am at fault on pose or key part of character).
  • Major alterations requested after the line stage will result in an extra fee.
  • All completed pieces will be sent via email to ensure quality is preserved.
  • All WIPs are heavily watermarked until full amount is paid
